We are hiring for Sr. Engineer - Quality at our Dadra & Nagar Haveli location.

Details of Job Description

Educational Qualification : Essential: B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma with specialization in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, from a State/Govt. recognized University

Preferred: Graduation from recognized institute relevant to the function can be considered for higher fitment

 

Work Experience Required : Relevant experience Total: 3-6 years.

Other Relevant Direct Skills : Working in SAP.

Key Deliverables for this position:

Responsible for quality of designated area such as Incoming Quality, In-process Quality Assurance, Final Quality Assurance, Customer Feedback and/or Corrective Actions

Exposure to Six Sigma Methodology, preferably Six Sigma Green Belt

Exposure to tools / techniques like APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 7 QC Tools

Will be required to participate & drive Kaizen, Continuous Improvement Projects

Exposure to Vendor Development Process

Compiling Vendor Quality issues & coordinating corrective / preventive measures

Participate in new initiatives like “PPM Program”

Exposure to Product Certification like “CE”, “UL” etc

Will have large interface with New Product Development Process, Manufacturing Engineering Department

Leading a team of quality inspectors for Process, Products & System Audits

Will conduct internal quality audits within & across plants

Assist Quality Head for conducting Management Review Meetings

Preparation of Quality Assurance Plans for products and handling third party / customer inspections

Driving Design Review Process for New Products

Handle customer quality complaints

To take preventive measures to reduce First Aid accidents
