Roles & Responsibilities-

• Lead overall Quality Department functions like Incoming inspection, In-process inspection, Final Inspection, customer quality , QMS , EHS & Safety.  

• Conduct Product and Process Audit of components of different commodities. Improving the working practices by working on all the 16 parameters of JIT.  

• Rejection analysis of parts with further recommendation for improvement. Following Continuous Improvement of the process with the help of Why-Why analysis and other 7 QC tools. Performing 

route-cause analysis of the rejection and warranty parts. Developing quality standards & implementation 7 QC tools for minimizing/eliminating Rejections and Reworks. 

• Responsible for preparing Quality Plan, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP & APQP (All 5 Core Tools) as per Customers requirement, drawings and functional needs. 

• Resolving customer complaints, preparing CAPA/8Ds, and submitting to the Customers. 

• Assessing the Process and Product Quality and leading an assignment of bench marking all the 

parts with Competitors. Inspection of Bought out material, Job work material and finished products for final approval.  

• Spearheading efforts in preparing and maintaining IATF 16949:2016 Quality System related Documents and Records for audits. 

• Responsible for External and Internal Quality Audit activities.  

• Working as one point of contact for leading and Implementing QMS- IATF 16949:2016 and monitor, manage and conduct Cross Functional Reviews/MRM. 

• Accountable for making Management Information System (MIS) reports and presenting performance indicators. 

• Entrusted the responsibility to improve in improving the shop productivity by reducing man-hours thru Multi-skilling, Multi-machining and Changing the Layouts. 

• Project Leader for implementation of Quality Tools TQM, TPM(8 Pillars), Lean Manufacturing, OEE Improvement, SMED, Kaizen, Poke Yoke, SPC, Six Sigma. 

• Leading and managing a large technical team around 30 members, developing and driving them for quality results.   

• Instrumental in carrying out Supplier identification, evaluation and finalization. 

• Periodically conducting internal audits (Product Quality Audit, Process Audit and QMS Audit) to assess the status of deployment of systems and taking corrective measures for achieving 

organizational objectives. 

• Coordinating with third party Certification body for Quality System Audits and achieving & sustaining the certifications.

Candidate- BE/DME with 8-12 years of experience in Auto sector with good exposure to multi commodities parts like Sheet Metal, Plastic, Fiber Glass and also parts being used for interior and exterior of Vehicles.

Should have good communication and presentation skill.
