We are urgently looking for #Sr.Engineer in #Quality Department (Metallurgy) in our GDC Division.
Qualification: B.E Mechanical
Experience: 3-7 Years Specifically in Metallurgy/ handling of Metallurgical lab
Location: Chh.Sambhajinagar.
Preferably from Aluminium Die Casting industry.
Knowledge of SAP, CQI-9, IATF 16949:2016
Job Descriptions:
1) To lead Metallurgical Lab Activities.
2) Calibration and maintenance of lab equipments.
3) Inspection of incoming alloys and melt samples.
4) Microscopic analysis of alloys.
5) Mechanical Testing of alloy samples.
Sand testing (AFS, HTS, etc.).
6) To update, maintain and improve laboratory documentation (SOP’s, Work instructions, formats, etc.) as per IATF 16949 requirements.
7) To maintain customer, national and international standards related to metallurgical lab with latest revisions.
8) To attend internal, customer and third-party/ certification audits.
9) To implement and maintain TPM activities in the lab.
10) To collaborate with team members for improvements and processes and product quality.
11) To conduct metallurgical tests to identify and solve material related issues.
12) To stay updated with latest advancements in metallurgical sciences and implement best practices.
13) To lead the team of internal lab (Manpower Planning, On Job Trainings, Skill evaluation, skill improvements, etc).
14) To take part in CFT for New product Development, Problem Solving, PFMEA, etc.
15) To maintain 5’S in the Lab.
